Yet, I am not distracted enough by any of that to forget about him and how good it feels just to be sitting next to him and holding his hand, no words, nothing besides that quiet connection that screams louder at me than anything I can remember.

I'm trying to get my foot in the door in this tough job market. Left and right marketing and communications people are being let go, flooding the market. I'm currently w/o real work and have realized that in my particular niche of social media / new media marketing...I need to get innovative to get in the door and get noticed.
It's been a rough few years and I don't have the money to do it. I'm asking if everyone who enjoys this blog can take a minute and opt to not have that afternoon latte or extra beer with the pals...and instead donate me a couple bucks, so I can have a chance at getting my career back on track.
If you have questions on how I intend to innovate, as I said, or want to help in some other way that isn't monetary (are you a designer, web person, etc that would donate time and talent?) I would love to hear from you. Thank you all!
