Learning to Drive Stick

Sometimes life offers you the gift of a forked path. I am familiar with my well trodden course. The light is just so, my foot prints deeply imbedded in the terrain, the obstacles and the rewards so well-shaped to fit my clearly defined and compartmentalized life. During late summer of 2009, after 12 years of choosing the familiar, I decided to explore the unknown path, to get lost and perhaps, in the end, find my way home.
